Some still don't get it!

This is a random post about confusing words. With life in general, but more specifically with my work on a newspaper, I've seen many of these words used incorrectly. I'm sure you have too.

Do you mean to say . . .

• effect or affect
• to, too or two
• there, their or they're
  
• complimentary or complementary
  
• stationary or stationery
  
• witch or which
• brake or break

The list could go on and on, but the point I want to get across with this post is to make sure you know which form of the word you want to use, and use it correctly!
