You asked for it . . .

Or maybe you didn't, but here is a streak of my sarcasm coming out. Beware. Here are some quotes that I find pretty funny.

"Writing fiction is great. You can make up anything."

"It’s so simple to be wise. Just think of something stupid to say and then don’t say it."

"I’m a classic example of all humorists — only funny when I’m working."

"If you’re one in a million, there are six thousand people exactly like you."

"Death is hereditary."

"The more studying you did for the exam, the less sure you are as to which answer they want."

"There are three stages of man: He believes in Santa Claus; he doesn’t believe in Santa Claus; he is Santa Claus."

"Behind every successful man there is a surprised woman."

"You are unique. Just like everyone else."

"Comedy is simply a funny way of being serious."

Black Friday

I decided to go Black Friday shopping. Whether or not that was a good idea, I'm not sure, but it was fun. My friend Rachael and I headed out around 4 a.m. to hit the Kohls, Target, Ulta, Old Navy, etc. We did not go to the mall, cause I never buy at big stores and the smaller ones just don't have good enough sales.

I bought a lot of stuff . . . . well, a lot of stuff considering I don't have money to pay for it all. That is where the handy little plastic card comes into play! I know, I know, I'm not supposed to use the credit card unless I have the money right then to pay it off, but it is Black Friday.

Besides, I probably won't even keep half the stuff. You know, it's all bought on impulse, and then a few hours later, you realize that you don't like, don't need or don't want what you bought.

I didn't get anything too awesome. Everything I wanted to get was too expensive or too big to take back home. Oh well. That is probably a good thing.

Anyway, did you go Black Friday shopping?!

Christmas and Amazon.com are a wonderful pair!

When the holiday season comes around, it's time to create a new Amazon.com wish list! I used to take the time to write out everything that I wanted for Christmas, but now I find it a lot easier and a lot quicker to do it online.

With this week being Thanksgiving break, I wasted some time online to make my list. Of course not everything is on there, and some of the things that are on there aren't necessarily things that I need to have.

A new product that I've been interested in is the Amazon Kindle. It's an e-book device that allows you to purchase books/magazines/newspapers through Amazon.com and it loads onto your handheld device. I think of it as an iPod for books. I don't like the design of the Kindle, but I do think it's a neat idea. Maybe they will make a newer version that will be more techy.

Another good gift idea is iTunes giftcards. I love browsing on iTunes and seeing which movies, albums or singles I can upload to my iPod nano.

I haven't decided if I'm going to brave the Black Friday crowds, but if so, I hope my friends and family will read this and decide to create an Amazon.com list so I can find out what to look for!!!

A Blogging Shift

Welcome to my blog. I've had a blog for quite a while, but I've decided to change the URL.

I enjoy blogging, cause it gives me an outlet for my thoughts like a journal does, yet it also allows me to share with friends about what I'm thinking.

So check back every once-in-a-while and see what's new here at my blog.
